Fossil remains for this Dinosaur have been found in
Asia
Fukuisaurus is one of the few dinosaurs discovered in Japan.
This island nation was once connected to the huge Asian
continent. However, there are not many sites in Japan where the
layers of exposed rock are of the right age to contain fossils,
and those that are the right age don't seem to have many
fossils. This small plant-eater seems to be related to the
Iguanodon
Known from fragmentary cranial and post-cranial remains, this
dinosaur has not yet been adequately described. At present its
name is not an accepted genus in the paleontological community. |
